The Namik glacier trek is situated on Kumaon Himalayas at an attitude of 3,600 mtrs. It is 40 km from Munsiyari and situated at the villages of Gogina and Namik. The glacier is surrounded by peaks like Nanda Devi (7,848 m), Nanda Kot (6,861 m), and Trishuli (7,120 m).The glacier falls on ancient Indo-Tibet trade route. There are a number of waterfalls and sulphur springs originating around this glacier. The glacier can be reached by trekking from Bala village on Thal-Munsiyari road near Birthi Fall. It is 129 km from Pithoragarh.

Itinerary Starts from Delhi

Day 1 : Delhi - Departure to Kathgodam Railway station. Reach Kathgodam early in the morning, leave by car to Bageshwar. Night Halt at Bageshwar.
Day 2 : Bageshwar - Liti - Gogina 60kms/ 7hr 50 Kms Drive to Liti & 10 Kms trek to Gogina. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 3 : Gogina - Dhaldhauk 9kms/5hr Trek to Dhaldhauk. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 4 : Dhaldhauk - Sutam Khan 7kms/5hr Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 5 : Sutam Khan - Jogi Udiyar 12kms/6hr Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 6 : Jogi Udiyar - Namik Glacier - Jogi Udiyar 6kms/5hr Trek to Namik Glacier and back to Jogi Udiyar. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 7 : Jogi Udiyar - Chaufua 16kms/7hr Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 8 : Chaufua - Quiti 18kms/6hr Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 9 : Quiti to Gwaldam 137kms/5hr Drive to Gwaldam, check in Hotel. Gwaldam with its salubrious climate is a little heaven nestling in the woods. There are several orchards generally of apple. One can have a magnificent view of Nandaghunti, Trishul and Nanda Devi. Night halt.
Day 10 : Gwaldam to Almora. Night Halt in Almora.
Day 11 : Almora to Delhi - Tour Terminate at Delhi.
